Urban explorers take note! Flavorpill has a nice piece on some of the world’s coolest secret subway stations up. The secret stations of New York include a stretch along the 6 in the City Hall Station (if you stay on a downtown train past the Brooklyn Bridge stop, you’ll catch the view as you loop around); the Waldorf-Astoria platform below Grand Central Station, which FDR used to secretly enter the hotel and hide his polio from the public (below right); and South Williamsburg’s South Fourth Street Station, which houses graffiti from the Underbelly Project (below left).
